              computer web builds websites and provides hosting. we use automad cms or carrd depending on requirements.

              what you pay

              50% upfront before work begins

              50% on completion before site goes live

              after first year: £10/month hosting/domain/email fee

              payments via stripe. invoices sent by email.

              cancellation before completion

              if work has not started: full refund of upfront payment

              if work has started: you pay for work completed, refund the rest

              we determine completion percentage based on agreed milestones

              hosting cancellation

              hosting fee starts after first year included period

              cancel anytime with notice to end of current billing period

              no refunds for partial months

              30 days after cancellation we delete your site and data

              liability limits

              we are liable for direct damages caused by our negligence

              we are not liable for:

              - vultr infrastructure failures

              - loss of revenue or business

              - data loss if you ignored backup exports

              - third party service failures

              - your content or domain issues

              maximum liability: total amount paid to computer web in previous 12 months

              payment terms

              invoices due within 7 days

              late payment: service suspended after 14 days

              suspension longer than 30 days: service terminated and data deleted

              changes to terms

              we can update these terms with 30 days notice by email

              continued use after notice period means acceptance

              you can cancel if you disagree with changes

              we can terminate service if:

              - you breach acceptable use policy

              - you fail to pay invoices

              - you abuse support channels

              first breach: warning by email and request to fix

              second breach: service suspended until resolved

              third breach or serious single breach: immediate termination

              serious breaches (illegal content, attacks): immediate termination and report to authorities

              no refunds on domains as registrar fees are non-refundable

              if you dispute work quality:

              - we review against original specifications

              - we offer reasonable revisions if specs met

              - refunds only if we failed to meet agreed specifications

              unresolved disputes: small claims court

              payment failures

              failed payments are not refunds
